Disputes, fees & buyer protection

Letsallbuy provides the auction and order tools. We do not hold buyer funds or guarantee refunds — payment and handover are between you and the seller, using the invoice and messages on each order.

Right now it is free to buy and sell on Letsallbuy — there are no platform fees on listings, bids, or completed sales.

We are building the community first. If we introduce seller fees later, we will say so clearly in advance and update this page before they apply. Until then, the only money that changes hands is between you and the other party (the item price and any payment method you agree).

💬 2 How disputes work ›

If something goes wrong after the auction (payment, collection, item not as described), use Messages for the order first. Either party can file a dispute from the thread so our team can review. Escalations may be limited to ended listings with a clear buyer and seller.

We may ask for evidence (photos, tracking, payment references). Outcomes can include continuing the sale, return/collection arrangements, or account action for serious breaches — each case depends on the facts.

↩ 3 Refunds ›

Refunds are not processed by Letsallbuy. If you and the seller agree a refund, arrange it using the same payment method you used (e.g. bank transfer or PayPal), and record the agreement in messages where possible.

🛡 4 Buyer protection ›

You get transparent bidding, messaging, invoices, and dispute escalation. We do not offer a separate “money-back guarantee” fund. Buying from private or business sellers is still a peer transaction: check photos, description, and seller feedback before you bid.

👥 5 Buyer badges ›

Letsallbuy shows buyer trust on sold orders so sellers can see who they are dealing with. Badges appear in Messages, the order timeline, bid history, and admin tools — not on active auctions before a sale completes.

Verified buyer

Blue ✓ Verified badge when you confirm your email on My auctions → Profile (same verification as for sellers). If you miss the first email, use Send verification email under your email address on Profile.

Trusted buyer ★

A blue ★ Trusted buyer badge when all of these apply:

  • Email verified (Verified buyer)
  • At least 3 completed purchases (auctions you won where the reserve was met)
  • At least 5 seller reviews with an average of 4.5★ or higher

Track your progress on Profile → Buyer standing. Leave fair feedback after your orders — it helps sellers and counts toward Trusted buyer.
